Conflict Resolution Policy Statements

As you know our vision at Geometric Power is to be the “premier power solutions provider in sub-Saharan Africa ”; and our mission is to “develop and invest in sustainable power projects that make economic and environmental sense and have positive impact within the community”

To actualise these statements we try to relate with our host communities and the society as best as we can. This is because they are our strategic partners and we must let them know that they are integral to the realisation of our power projects.

This is why we adopt a clear Conflict Avoidance Mantra . This simply means that we will always proactively engage with all stakeholders to successfully address concerns and issues.

If regrettably an issue deteriorates to a conflict, the Company Policy is to still seek to resolve all such conflicts promptly and amicably through discussions, negotiations and arbitration.

For us at Geometric Power we each wear the cap and have the heart of a Stakeholder Liaison Officer .

For us at Geometric Power conflict resolution through litigation is NEVER an option.

We shall comply with these policies so that we can successfully achieve our corporate objectives - develop power projects that supply reliable, global quality power which in turn have a positive multiplier effect on the economies of the communities we are supplying power to.
